It’s the most wonderful time of the year! As Thanksgiving draws to a close and the holidays approach, it is time to get into the spirit. At times, our busy adult lives can consume a lot of our free time, so it’s important that we take some time to relax and enjoy this season. If you prefer to watch tv on your own schedule, streaming sites are here for you! Netflix provides plenty of holiday-themed shows and movies for you to watch at any time. You can also stream in the gym, by the pool, or in the resident lounge with our free wi-fi in our common areas.

Connect with your Camden neighbors!

Do you have any holiday plans yet? If not, don’t worry – there are plenty of low-cost holiday events happening in every city! In Charlotte, one of my favorite websites to find out about local happenings is Charlotte on the Cheap. It’s worth finding a similar website in your city so you’re up-to-date on everything going on nearby.

If you’re new to your city or want someone to go with, why not start with your Camden neighbors? One of the best ways to meet other people is through resident events, so if you are hesitant about going, I would recommend it. You may also run into your neighbors in amenity areas; some Camden communities even have holiday gift-wrapping stations, so you’re bound to make a connection!

Give back through Camden**

The holiday season is usually the busiest time of year for volunteer organizations. Many places could always use a helping hand. At Camden, we host a variety of charity drives throughout the year to give our residents the opportunity to get involved. In Charlotte, we hosted a school supply drive through Classroom Central and a coat drive with Crisis Assistance Ministry.
