JuiceLand in the Houston Heights Now Open 2016! Who doesn’t love peanut butter in their smoothies? Well I didn’t… until I had the Orginator at JuiceLand . As a former resident of Austin I’ve had the pleasure of visiting multiple locations. I was over the moon when I found out my neighborhood would have its very own! The Heights have been graced with a JuiceLand on White Oak Drive right of the Heights Hike and Bike Trail and conveniently located down the street from Camden Heights. With the Grand Opening last weekend and the soft opening the first week of January the juices have been flowing. With lines out the door daily, the staff manages to get everyone in and out with perfectly blended ingredients. With a vast knowledge of the fresh ingredients, big smiles and great conversation the staff at this location will keep you coming back for more. Not only can you grab a fresh juice or smoothie they also serve up aguas frescas, “shots”, hot drinks, Cold-Pressed Juices, Create Your Own and adorable Kids Drinks on the JuiceLand Menu. They have a stellar rewards program and an option to pre-order drinks online, which is a major perk for me when I’m on the go. But when I’m not, I enjoy the seating out front while enjoying our beautiful neighborhood.
Neighbors Black Swan Yoga and JuiceLand You will also find another native Austin company sharing this functional space, Black Swan Yoga - Houston. With a great approach to sharing yoga with all, Black Swan Yoga is a donation-based, 90 degree HEATED yoga studio. I have yet to visit but with no hidden fees and philosophy of yoga should be available to everyone, I’ll be visiting soon! All classes are by donation with a suggestive donations of $10-20 by cash or credit card. So do some yoga, grab a juice, hit the bike trail and explore!
